On Tuesday, Junction City High School head football coach Randall Zimmerman was named an assistant coach for the 53rd Annual Kansas Shrine Bowl in Emporia on Saturday, June 27.

Geary County Schools USD 475 and the Junction City Education Association are proud to announce that Fort Riley Elementary fifth grade teacher Emily Chandler and Junction City Middle School ELA teacher Elizabeth Spaulding have been named the district’s nominees for the Kansas Master Teacher Award.

The Kansas State Department of Education recently announced that Geary County School USD 475’s Parents as Teachers program is one of only 11 outstanding Kansas PAT programs state-wide to achieve the prestigious Blue-Ribbon Endorsement from the Parents as Teachers National Center.
